Ohio COVID-19 Cases Up By More Than 1,000


The number of COVID-19 cases in Ohio is up by more than a thousand in the last 24-hours. An additional 1,204 confirmed and probable cases brings the statewide total to 98,675.

Thirty-four new coronavirus-related fatalities leaves the death toll at 3,652. More than 11,000 people are currently hospitalized for treatment.

But in the big picture, COVID Exit Strategy.com reports in Ohio the COVID+ rate is 4.9% and decreasing, and the 14-day trend of COVID+ is -20% and decreasing.

Overall, they show the US is at 7.5% and decreasing, and the 14-day trend of COVID+ is -19% and decreasing.
