Meyers To Become Chillicothe Police Chief


Chillicothe's newest police chief will be sworn into office, October 5th. Ron Meyers has been appointed to the post, according to Mayor Luke Feeney.

Meyers is a 24-year veteran of the Chillicothe Police Force, previously serving as a road patrol officer until he was promoted to sergeant in 2011. He served in that capacity until 2017, when he was named captain.

Prior to joining the Chillicothe Police Department, Meyers was in the U.S. Marine Corp.
