The Chillicothe Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon in the area of Seventh and Mechanic Streets.
The event took place at 5:45pm.
Victims in the incident are 19-year-old Timothy Perkins of Aberdeen, Ohio and 40-year-old Frank Simmons of Chillicothe.
Both were transported to Adena Regional Hospital and then transferred to hospitals in Columbus.
The matter is still under investigation.
