Ross Sheriff Reminds Us To Daylight Savings Changes in Morning Lighting

Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend as we return to Standard Time.

Ross County Sheriff George Lavender says motorists need to beware of the change in lighting for early mornings, especially for kids walking to the school bus or to school, as the change in lighting makes it even more difficult to see pedestrians.

Before going to bed Saturday night, set your clocks back one hour.

On another topic, Lavender says progress is being made as a new company is working to finish renovations on the Ross County Law Complex. He says the roofing has been completed, but they are still awaiting some of the hardware for inside doors and locks. Some of those supply arrivals were slowed down due to the pandemic impacting supply chains of materials.

That's Sheriff George Lavender, who pointed to improvements in work done by the company that took over for the previous contractor, who defaulted on the project.
