Bainbridge Fire Department Will Host Annual Christmas Parade

The Bainbridge Volunteer Fire Department says the popular Fire Department Christmas Parade will continue this year in spite of COVID-19.

The Department said the parade would take place this year on Friday, December 18th in a safe and responsible manner. That includes temperature screenings for fire department staff, mandatory face coverings and frequent sanitizing.

There will also be a “Contactless Claus” meaning Santa this year will have to remain on the float at all times and won’t be able to mingle with parade watchers.

Children with Christmas wish lists are encouraged to participate in the United States Postal Service’s Operation Santa. Kids can place their wish list inside of a stamped envelope addressed to Santa Claus at 123 Elf Road, North Pole 88888 in the mail. Make sure to include a return address.
