Hillsboro Scouts will be collecting food donations next weekend to help area families for the holiday season.
The Hillsboro Cub Scout Pack 5037 and the Hillsboro Boy Scout Troop 6171 will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Samaritan Outreach Services of Highland County through the national scouting program Scouting for Food.
For those who’d like to make a non-perishable food donation, the Scouts will be set up on Saturday, November 6th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Paint Creek Joint EMS & Fires Station located at 204 N. East Street in Hillsboro.
