US 23 at SR 220 in Waverly to Close Saturday for Building Demolition

A single day closure of US 23 in Waverly is scheduled to take place this Saturday, December 4th. The Ohio Department of Transportation reports the closure will occur at the intersection of US 23 and State Route 220 (Market Street) between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The closure is to allow for the demolition of the Greenbaum Building. Normal traffic flow at the intersection will be restored once the demo is complete and all debris and equipment have been removed.

While the intersection is closed, US 23 southbound traffic will be detoured by way of Clough Street, North Street, State Route 220 and Ford Avenue. Northbound traffic on US 23 will be detoured via Lock Street, Second Street and Clough Street.
