A Frankfort man died in a crash in northwestern Ross County Friday morning.
The Highway Patrol reports that 79-year-old Robert Warner was eastbound in a 2008 Hyundai Accent on County Road 550 near Westfall Road at about 9:35am, when he struck a guardrail on the right side, overcorrected, then went off the left side and struck a ditch.
Warner was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt. Alcohol is not a considered to be a contributing factor.
Concord Township EMS and Fire Department, Union Township EMS, and the Ross County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
