Sabina Man Charged with Murder, Felonious Assault

A fatal shooting in Sabina has resulted in the death of a Washington CH man, with charges of murder and felonious assault filed against the suspect.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a residence the 66-hundred block of State Route 729 in Sabina shortly after 8:30 p.m. Monday regarding a shooting at the residence.

At the scene, deputies found Zachary Parrott, 23, of Washington CH, dead of apparent gun shots in an upstairs bathroom of the home.

The home’s resident, Phillip Haley, 38, was found standing outside the residence when authorities arrived and was placed into custody. He faces charges of felonious assault and murder. Haley is being held on a $150-thousand bond.

The investigation remains ongoing. No further details have been made available.
