Pickaway County High School "Battle of the Books"

The Pickaway County Public Library report they held their 11th annual Pickaway County High School "Battle of the Books" competition at the start of April, with eight teams from five area schools, and a total of 40 students competing.

The books for this year included two non-fiction titles and nine fiction titles. The competition was held in a quiz show-style format with students answering questions identifying one of the eleven books on the list.

Westfall High School claimed the championship trophy with Teays Valley as the runner-up. Other participating high schools were Circleville, Logan Elm and Logan-Hocking.
