Chillicothe Evening Lions Club Places Flags along Streets and and Highways

If you wonder who puts out all the American flags along city streets and and Ross County highways, it's the Chillicothe Evening Lions Club.

Mike Hathaway of the club says seven or eight crews put out more than 700 flags on nine federal holidays. Some of their coverage is Main Street, State Route 104 in the Camp Sherman area, and near Adena Regional Medical Center.

If you want a flag placed somewhere, or to help the Lions out, ask any Lion member, or call 740 / 703-3943.

They also have a Facebook page and website. Hathaway says they are the largest service club in Chillicothe
