Police Unable To Identifying Suspect And Victim In Groveport Shooting

Police are still working to identify the suspect and victim of a deadly shooting in Groveport Monday morning. Lieutenant Josh Short says Homeland Security has reported both individuals are immigrants from Haiti and were not in the U.S. legally.

Investigators say the male suspect entered his workplace at SK Foods, around 5:30 a.m., and shot a female coworker multiple times before attempting to turn the gun on himself.

He was out of ammunition, leading him to climb a utility pole and deliberately touch electrical lines, electrocuting himself, according to police.
