August 2nd Primary and Special Election Just a Few Days Away

The August 2nd Primary and Special Election is just a few days away.

On Wednesday, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced that almost 93,000 absentee ballots have been requested, and that more than 67,000 votes have been cast statewide in those same races.

On your August 2 primary ballot, Ohio voters will find races for the Ohio House of Representatives, Ohio Senate, Democrat or Republican State Central Committee...and some local issues, questions, and measures.

Early In-person Voting Hours are 8am-4pm Saturday, 1pm-5pm Sunday, and 8am-2pm Monday. On Tuesday's Election Day, polls are open from 6:30am-7:30pm.

Poll worker are still needed in some places. Ohioans looking to serve can sign up at VoteOhio.gov/DefendDemocracy. Poll workers are paid for their time.
