A Greenfield woman is in custody, charged with endangering children.
Police in Hillsboro Tuesday afternoon responded to the Kroger after receiving report that two small children were left unattended in a vehicle with no adult present. The caller told officers he came out of the store and noticed that the car was running with two small children in back car seats.
An officer found out that all four doors were unlocked.
A woman came out of the store, stating it was her vehicle and the children hers. 22-year-old Winnann Sharp of Greenfield was placed under arrest for endangering children in the Highland Justice Center.
