In addition, the names of seven officers from the 1900s will be added to the memorial wall: six from the Dayton Police Department who died of Spanish flu in 1918, and Deputy Herbert Minshull of Perry County who was shot in the line of duty while serving a warrant in 1945.

The annual Memorial Motorcade will depart at 10 a.m. from the Fraternal Order of Police, Ohio State Lodge, 222 E. Town St., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
