Genealogical Society to Hear about Upcoming World Heritage Designation

The May speaker’s program for the Ross County Genealogical Society will focus on the World Heritage Designation.

Melody Young, executive director of the Ross Chillicothe Convention and Visitors Bureau, will speak Tuesday evening on the expected UN listing of the prehistoric Hopewell earthworks.

The Genealogical Society notes this is a very important time for Chillicothe and Ross County, and Young will be available to answer questions afterward.

The gathering starts at 7pm May 9th at 303 South Paint Street, with parking in the rear.
