The Chillicothe Kiwanis Prayer Breakfast will kickoff statehood day events in Chillicothe this Saturday. The breakfast will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church at the corner of Mulberry and Main Streets in Chillicothe. The Breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. A limited number of tickets, at $10.00 each, are available at the Office of Diane Carnes.
Special events have also been planned thru the Ross County Historical Society to celebrate statehood day. Five local historical sites will be open free of charge and offering special programs, including the Ross County Heritage center, Lucy Hayes and David Nickens Heritage centers, the Adena Mansion, and Ross County Genealogical Society.
