Local, non-profit health and human service agencies may be eligible for United Way funding, if their organizations meet specific requirements and their programs align with goals and outcomes defined in the new Community Impact business model.

To foster its mission to mobilize resources to improve lives and strengthen the community, United Way of Ross County is inviting local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations to apply for funding for programs that meet eligibility criteria and implement strategies identified for accomplishing targeted results in areas of education, income (financial stability), health and safety net services.

"This emphasis on collaboration supports the commitment of United Way and its partners to create opportunity for all and advance community solutions that focus on results.

The Community Impact model will maximize the outreach of our funded programs and effectiveness of our donors’ investments," said Mary Elsass, executive director.

To determine eligibility for funding consideration, interested agencies must attend the New Grant Opportunities meeting on Monday, January 13th, 4pm to 6pm, at the Ross County Service Center, Room B, 475 Western Avenue.

To register for the meeting or obtain further information, call the United Way office at 773-3280.
