Railroad Crossing Changes

Posted June 9th, 2014 @ 6:18am

Motorists all over Ohio should notice a change at railroad crossings this summer. Fayette County Engineer Steve Lubbe  says the change is specifically for unprotected railroad crossings.

Unprotected crossings are ones without lights or crossing arms. Lubbe says the change was made through state law and applies at all unprotected crossings, regardless of whether they are in the city or rural.
