Southwest of Columbus, in Grove City, the body found at the new Scioto Grove Metro Park on State Route 104 has been identified as a missing Ohio State student.
The Franklin County Coroner's office confirmed 21-year-old Reagan Tokes was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound yesterday near the park's entrance.
The Ohio State University released a statement saying, "We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Reagan Tokes, a psychology student at Ohio State. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to her family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this extremely difficult time. Counseling and consultation services are available for those in need of support."
Columbus Police confirmed last night they had taken a missing person report on Tokes, who was last seen at Bodega, a bar in the Short North neighborhood.
A person claiming to be a roommate says that's where she works, and says “she drives a silver 1999 Acura which is also missing. which is extremely unlike her."
