A local couple, engaged last month and making their lives in Dade City, Florida, were killed in a crash in Florida Saturday night. 37-year-old Michael Hardesty and 32 year old Kristen Conn were killed on a motorcycle on I-75 in Florida. Investigators say it was a four vehicle crash around 11 pm Saturday night. A car hit them from behind. The 18-year-old driver told police he didn't see them and said the motorcycle didn't have a tail light. The impact sent the motorcycle into the path of two others cars. Hardesty was taken to Wesley Chapel Hospital where he later died. Conn was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a helmet. A 16-year-old driver in one of the other cars involved suffered minor injuries.
