Ohio Soldier Killed In Afghanistan

(Washington, DC)  --  One of the two U.S. soldiers killed in a firefight in Afghanistan Wednesday was from Ohio. 

The Pentagon now identifies him as 23-year-old Sergeant Cameron Thomas of Kettering.  Thomas enlisted in the Army after high school and was serving his third deployment to Afghanistan.  

The other soldier killed in the operation was 22-year-old Joshua Rodgers of Bloomington, Illinois.
