The American Cancer Society will hold its signature fundraiser, Relay For Life, on Friday, June 2nd at the Ross County Fairgrounds.
The annual event begins at 6:00 p.m. with registration being held prior to the start. Advance registration can be done online at cancer.org.
"There's a lot of things that go on. There's a silent auction with lots of different items up for bid. We have laps that people walk each hour with different themes. There will be booths set up with food and luminaries for sale," said event coordinator, Carrie Wolfe.
The Adena Cancer Center is bringing a new event to this year's relay. The Cancer Center team has organized a 5K that will take place during the event. Registration for that race can be completed at racepenguin.com until May 18th. The cost is $30.
