In a very minimal Chillicothe Council session Monday evening, there was not even any legislation passed.
Only two items were on the agenda, and they will be passed next session. But even the previous session was simple and brief:
Council president Bruce Arnold said the review session last Wenesday was just the viewing of a webinar on the proposed public announcement system.
He said the public will still need to sign up for that service, and since any announcements would also go out over the city website, he wasn't sure the costs would be worth it.
Arnold said the discussion continues...and the concept of the public announcement system is "not even in its infancy."
