A West Virginia woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Pickaway County, Tuesday afternoon. The State Highway Patrol reports the fatal accident occurred on U.S. Route 23, north of Weigand Road.
69-year-old Delletta M. Bowers of West Columbia, was driving south U.S. 23 when she went off the left side of the road into the median, hitting a culvert, overturning. Bowers was pinned inside her vehicle. Bowers was pronounced her dead at the scene.
