CHS Principal Jeff Fisher Indicted

After nearly three months of investigation, the Ross County Grand Jury returned an indictment against former Chillicothe High School principal Jeff Fisher for seven counts of Sexual Battery - each with a potential prison sentence of up to 60 months.

That was reported in a statement released at 5:05 Friday afternoon by Ross County Prosecuting Attorney Matt Schmidt.

He went on to note that on August 16th, the Executive Director of the South Central Ohio Department of Job & Family Services reported allegations that Fisher may have engaged in sexual conduct with students.

Director Jody Walker and Prosecutor Schmidt then met with the Chillicothe Police Chief and requested a formal investigation.

The indictment charges Fisher with engaging in sexual conduct with two female students, who have since graduated.

Each of the seven counts is a third-degree felony, and carries a potential prison sentence of 12-60 months.
