Tuscarawas Valley Takes Down SE in Regional Final

The farthest volleyball tournament run in Southeastern School history, came to an end Saturday, as the Panthers were swept by (28-0) Tuscarawas Valley 25-10, 25-11, 25-20 in the Division 3 Regional Championship at Logan High School.

The Trojans have not lost a set all season.

Tuscarawas Valley solid front row play was too much for Southeastern as they had multiple weapons at the net. 5'10 Alexis Gilland led all players with 15 kills and 10 digs, followed by 6'0 Abbigail Gillson with 8 kills and 5 solo blocks, with Kierrah Stewart adding 8 kills. Sage Peters had 6 kills.

Southeastern's Ella Skeens had 8 kills. Lauren Goebel had a team-high 9 digs. 

The Trojans had 5 serving aces, while Southeastern had 2.

The Panthers end their season at (23-4) and Regional Runner-Up.
