Mental Health Awareness Month

May is mental health awareness month.

According to the national survey on drug use and health, 18 percent of adults in the US experienced a diagnosable mental health condition in 2015 - that's more than one in six adults.

About 1.5% suffer from persistent depressive disorder, which typically lasts for at least two years. the anxiety and depression association of america says 40 million americans suffer from anxiety. 

But barely more than a third of them - 37 percent - receive treatment.
