Potential Charges for Make-Shift Parking Space

A Chillicothe woman could face charges after allegedly using spray paint to create a personal parking spot outside of her apartment. According to Chillicothe Police, City Service Director Jeff Carman contacted authorities in regard to a tenant of a N. High Street apartment spray painting the street in front of her residence.

An officer reported finding a car parked in a make-shift parking spot with "Apt. 3 Only" spray painted in the center of the spot.

The city service director has requested the 41-year-old tenant be charged for the offense due to the time and money it will take to clean the paint off the street.

According to the report, the area outside the apartment complex is public parking.
