A truck-train crash left the driver dead Friday afternoon.
The Chillicothe Post of the Highway Patrol reports the crash was about 3:23pm in Ross County.
74-year-old Clarence E. Yahn of Chillicothe was westbound in a 1996 Chevrolet S10 on Delano Road near State Route 159 while a Norfolk Southern train operated by 40-year-old conductor Adam A. Smith was southbound.
Yahn failed to yield at the crossing and was struck by the train, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Green Township EMS and Fire Department responded to the scene to assist.
