The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating an injury dump-truck crash which occurred on westbound US-35, in Union Township, Wednesday.
A dump-truck, driven by 57-year-old Charles Engel of Frankfort, was traveling westbound on US-35, when following an equipment failure, Engel’s vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned.
Engel sustained minor injuries and was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Union Township EMS. Both east and westbound US-35 were reduced to one lane for approximately three hours.
ODOT and Union Township Fire Department and EMS assisted on scene.
