Locals can help support a local recreational trail with a night of exercise and pastries. The annual "Night Pie Ride" on the Tri-County Triangle Trail is this Thursday. Participants may ride 14 miles on an almost level paved trail, starting at 6:30 p.m.
It starts at the parking lot of the Hopewell Works at 4731 Sulphur Lick Road.
Participants may cycle to the Frankfort Dairy Cone, pay for pie and ice cream, and enjoy the treats at the fire station.
The event is being held rain or shine.
