Ohio Medical Marijuana Almost Ready

Regulators of Ohio's medical marijuana program say it may be ready within about a month and a half.

Ohio's medical marijuana program was scheduled to be activated in September. A series of delays paused it, though.

Ten cultivators are certified to grow medical-grade marijuana and more than a dozen similar facilities are in the works. There are five testing labs, 14 processing facilities and 56 dispensaries granted provisional licenses.

Industry experts predict Ohio's medical marijuana program could begin outputting enough production to keep up with demand as early as spring.
