The U.S. Department of Energy has issued a request for information and for sources for decontamination and decommissioning of the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant.
The project includes demolition and disposal of all facilities, process equipment, related process buildings, and other ancillary facilities as well as remediating contaminated soils and groundwater, providing infrastructure services to site users, and disposing uranium material at the facility near Piketon.
The DOE seeks capability statements from interested parties with specialized capabilities, and one of the goals is evaluating small business capabilities.
