A Piketon woman is dead as the result of single-vehicle crash on State Route 104 from Tuesday morning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jolissa R. Cooke 37 was traveling northbound along State Route 104, north of State Route 73, in Scioto County shortly before 8:30 a.m. Tuesday when her vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a couple of trees.
Ms. Cooke was transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries.
