Scholarship applications are now being accepted to attend Ohio State University, through the Ohio State University Alumni Club of Ross County.
They give freshman scholarships, and well as upperclassman scholarships, for Ross County students. The club has given a large number of scholarships in the past.
Ross County OSU Alumni Chair Jhan Corzine spoke on WKKJ's Sounding Board, and explained what they look for in their scholarship applicants.
Class rank is important, and the club does not consider anyone not in the top 25% of their class. The also look at ACT scores, and community involvement.
Students can find an application and information online under the scholarship tab of the club’s website.
Applications are due January 31, 2019 and students will be required to participate in an interview with the club’s scholarship committee.
