Investigators Seek Tips in Ross County Arson

A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or person's responsible for a couple of arson fires in Ross Count.

The Division of State Fire Marshal’s Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau is seeking tips from the public regarding an intentionally set fire at a mobile home, located at 2138 Davis Road in Bainbridge. The fire occurred in the early morning hours of May 26th.

The investigation is being conducted by the State Fire Marshal’s office, the Ross County Sheriff’s Office and the Bainbridge Fire Department.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by the Blue Ribbon Arson Committee for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

A reward of up to $5000 is also being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a separate arson fire that took place on May 25th at a manufactured home at 2600 Wilson Run Road in southern Ross County.

That fire broke out at around 1:00 p.m. A neighbor living across the street reported the fire to the Franklin Township Fire Department.
