A traffic stop turned into a high speed chase in Washington Court House early Friday. Police said an officer tried to stop Ermon Whitamore for traffic violations at around 2:30 a.m., but Whitamore fled and led the officer on a 10-minute chase.

Authorities said Whitamore eventually got off the motorcycle and fled on foot but was arrested after a taser was deployed onto him.

In addition to various traffic violations, Whitamore has been charged with obstructing, resisting arrest, and fleeing and eluding, according to police.
