The Church in Chillicothe is reaching out to community members for help in their annual Mission Day effort for Chillicothe on June 22nd.

Pastor Dan DeGarmo says they are emphasizing the downtown area of Chillicothe this year.
.
They will meet at the Church of Chillicothe campus then head to the Ross County Courthouse by 10:30am for some singing of hyms, prayer, then head into the downtown for their community mission work.
.
They will also be ministering in the Sherman Park area with a fish fry, collecting donations for buying a "bed bug oven" for the Rulon Addiction Recovery Center.

They will also be handing out box fans between 2-4pm for those who go to The Church in Chillicothe facebook page to express a need for a fan.
