S.N.A.P. To Enforce Work Requirement For Adults Without Kids

(24/7 News) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s new rule for SNAP benefits is set to go into effect on April 1st, 2020.

The new rule will make it more difficult for adults without children to receive food assistance if they don’t meet the imposed work requirement.

Analysts expect the cut to impact nearly 700,000 adults between the ages of 18 and 49.
