Term Limit Proposal for Lawmakers in State House or State Senate

24/7 News Source -- A group is trying to get a different version of term limits on the Ohio ballot. The Ohio Attorney General has certified the language of a proposal by the group "Ohioans for Legislative Term Limits." Their proposed constitutional amendment would set a limit of 16 years in office on lawmakers in the state House or state Senate. Currently there's an eight-year limit, but it only applies to one chamber. The group is hoping to put it on the November ballot.
