Chillicothe Transit Service to be Further Reduced Tuesday, March 24th

The City of Chillicothe is further reducing its transit department services.

In accordance with Governor Mike DeWine’s Stay at Home order, the City of Chillicothe will reduce its transit services to essential needs only starting tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24th.

Transit service will then only be offered from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until further notice. There will be no Saturday transit service.

The transit department will still offer paratransit and on-demand services in order to connect the community with employment, grocery stores, doctor’s visits and other essential appointments. Anyone with the city in need of that service can call the Chillicothe Transit Office at 740-773-1569.
