Pickaway County Main Library Opens to Public, Monday July 6th

The Pickaway County Main Library, 1160 N. Court Street, Circleville, will be open to the public beginning July 6 with procedures in place for the safety of patrons and staff.

Access for seniors and other high-risk individuals will be Monday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Main Library. The Main Library will be open to all patrons Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All patrons will be limited to one hour in the building to use the computer, make copies, and check out materials. Patrons are asked to wear masks, use hand sanitizer, and maintain 6-feet of social distance between other patrons and staff.

The Younkin Branch Library will remain closed to the public at this time but will continue to offer curbside pickup during its regular hours. Curbside pickup will continue to be an option for patrons who place items on hold at the Main Library or the Bookmobile.

The Bookmobile will continue to offer curbside service in Tarlton on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Commercial Point on Tuesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Williamsport on Tuesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m..

Summer reading is available for all ages using Beanstack. Virtual programs are available on the library's facebook and YouTube pages. Weekly craft kits for youth are available for pickup at any library location.

Computer use at the Main Library will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Meeting room space is available by advance reservation, with groups limited to 10 or less.
