Hocking Teen Makes Plea Deal In Schafer Wrongful Death Case

A plea agreement has been reached that will keep a teenager accused of killing a Chillicothe photographer, from being tried as adult.

Jaden Churchheus, who was 16-years-old at the time of the incident at Hocking Hills, has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors, which will return the case to Hocking County Juvenile Court.

He and Jordan Buckley, were accused of pushing a log off a cliff before it struck 44-year-old Victoria Schafer. She died on Labor Day.

No word yet on whether Buckley will be seeking the same deal.
