Piketon Getting USDA Loan for Police Cruiser

Thirteen southeast Ohio counties will benefit from more $1-million in loans from the USDA’s rural development initiative which helps to create essential community facilities in rural areas such as schools, libraries, hospitals, courthouses and more, as well as infrastructure improvement.

Piketon is among the recipients. The village in Pike County will receive a loan of $13-thousand to finance a new police cruiser.
