An Indiana woman was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Vinton County. 74-year-old Mary Jo Humphreys of Valparaiso, Indiana, was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by her husband, 74-year-old Joseph Humphreys, when the motorcycle went left of center on S-R 327 near McArthur and overturned. Mary Jo Humphreys was taken by MedFlight to the OSU Medical Center in Columbus. Joseph Humphreys suffered minor injuries. The Ohio Highway Patrol says both riders were wearing helmets, and the accident remains under investigation.
