Fireworks legislation opposed

A Ohio Senate bill that will allow those big fireworks to be purchased and set off any time during the year drew a great deal of opposition Wednesday. Senate Bill 113 is causing concern with the Ohio Fireworks Safety Coalition, which feels if passed, it would take Ohio from being one of the safest states when it comes to fireworks to one of the most dangerous. A number of opponents of the bill testified against it yesterday at the statehouse.
