Traffic was slowed on I-71 southbound at SR 435 in Fayette County for hours late Sunday afternoon after two separate crashes that involved injuries. HAZMAT crews were called to the scene of one of the accidents, which involved an overturned tractor-trailer leaking fuel. The other crash occurred near the Destination Outlet Center. Both accidents involved multiple vehicles. There is no word yet on the severity of the injuries to those involved. The crashes happened in the 5:00 hour Sunday afternoon.
