Concealed carry bill proposed

A Scioto County Republican lawmaker is proposing a bill that eliminate the requirement for a concealed weapons permit, and end the requirement that individuals inform law enforcement that they are carrying a concealed weapon. State Senator Terry Johnson's bill has the backing of the Buckeye Firearms Association. The statewide chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police opposes Johnson's bill. 21 other states currently allow people to carry a weapon without a license.
