Columbus Man Killed, Four Others Injured in Pickaway County Crash

A Columbus man is dead as the result of a two-vehicle crash in Pickaway County.

The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office reports that Kieshawn Hartley, 24, was killed when the Toyota he was riding in, as a front seat passenger, blew through a stop sign at the intersection of US 22 East and Bolender Pontius Road, and collided with an eastbound Honda min-van.

The crash took place around 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

Two others inside the Toyota, driver Mikayla Cooper, 22, of Circleville, and Josiah Montgomery, 20, of Circleville, were each flown to Columbus hospitals.

The driver of the mini-van, Angela Fowler, 36, of Lancaster, was taken by ground squad to Fairfield Medical Center. A juvenile passenger in the mini-van was taken to Nationwide Children’s.
